On the 2nd of November, ASLAN descended upon a local pub in Warrenpoint Square to unveil what was to be a night of musical experience. The venue, Cearnógs Bar was packed to capacity as 300 ASLAN fans were treated to a display of unplugged mastery.

Local band Elation preceded the main attraction as a very talented and capable support act. Their largely original programme included compositions of Johns Dinsmore (lead singer and song writer) entitled 'Eye of the Storm' and 'Homecoming' rounded off with a very sound rendition of 'One' by U2 warmed up the audience a treat and all round proved to be a very commendable performance.

ASLAN took the stage at 11pm opening with 'This Time' followed by Straight and 'Hang On', numbers which will feature on their new album. Instantly the enthusiasm from the audience was in evidence, which was further heightened when a surprisingly early appearance of their classic 'Crazy World' lifted the crowd as they sang along with increased fervour. Performances of 'Chains' 'Where's The Sun' and 'Lucy Jones Part 2' provided the set with successful continuity. These were followed by the Pink Floyd number, 'Wish you were here' and 'Please don't stop' in which Billy McGuinness engrossed the crowd with his riveting harmonica solo.
